PATRICIA L. HUFF

On Jan. 9, 2023, Patricia Lucile Huff gave her hand to Jesus. She gladly awaited this day.

Patricia was a mother, granny, sister, friend and most importantly a devoted woman of God. After being saved as a young adult, she followed her callings at Calvary Bible Church. She felt blessed to be able to work in the nursery, kitchen, tend to communion and any other places within the church she felt she could serve.

Her other deep passions were plenty. Always in her apron, you would be sure to find her digging in the dirt on her small farm. No matter the weather, she tended to her fruits and veggies. Baking sweets for all the special people in her life filled much of her time, often using the fruits of her labor to create those treats. Family and friends always enjoyed receiving a hand sewn or knitted piece made by her. Even in her later years she continued to harvest, bake and share her creations with loved ones. Her loving touch was put into everything she did and her giving heart was apparent to all.

Patricia is survived by her children, Deborah (Keith) Schreiber and Kenny Huff; grandchildren, Cory (Regan) Edelberg, Timothy Edelberg, Rachel (Steven) Hamilton, Brittney Huff and Emily Huff, as well as six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer Huff; siblings, Robert (Theresa) Bunch, Connie (Lloyd) Wycoff and Vera (Wilbur) Kirby.

A celebration of life will be held March 11, 2023 at Calvary Bible Church, Benton Harbor. Visitation will be at 12:00 with the service beginning at 1 p.m. and lunch to follow. Please come and share in remembering the life lived by the sweet “Patty Lou.”

Arrangements have been entrusted to Purely Cremations, 1997 Meadowbrook, Benton Harbor.
