Press Box Player of the Week: Leila Liberto-Taylor

Leila Liberto-Taylor, an incoming senior at Watervliet High School and a member of the Lady Panther varsity softball team this spring, has been named the Tri-City Record Press Box Player of the Week for June 26, 2025. Leila was nominated for the honor by her athletic director, John Guillean, who felt she was deserving of the recognition after finishing a strong season on the diamond. Her performance earned her first team all-conference honors, as well as recognition on both the all-district and all-region teams.
