Putting the taxpayer over the tax-taker in Lame Duck

 As we head into Lame Duck—the series of sessions after an election and before the new legislature is seated—the radical left in Lansing have put forward an agenda that prioritizes the tax-takers over the taxpayers. Government spending in our state has increased by nearly 50% in just a few short years and Democrats show no signs of stopping. They have proposed taxes on rainwater, taxes on garbage, as well as taxpayer-funded handouts to Hollywood billionaires and multinational-corporations; but have yet to put forward a serious plan to address the projected loss of 50,000 jobs and the closures of thousands of small businesses due to a recent partisan decision by the Michigan Supreme Court.
