ROBERT VLIET

 Robert “Tim” Vliet, 78, of Coloma, died at his residence on Monday, July 7, 2025. Services celebrating his life will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, at the Randall Park in Coloma. Cremation has taken place and the ashes will be scattered. Please bring a dish to pass on Saturday.

 Tim was born on April 5, 1947, in Benton Harbor to William and Isabella Vliet. He was a member of the Bricklayers Union and traveled all over the United States building churches. He enjoyed poker and was a regular at the weekly poker games with his friends who cared too much about him. He loved his family and will be missed by them and his friends.

 His family consists of his son, Travis (Laura) Vliet of Milwaukee; his daughter, Michelle (Kenny) Ginder of Mount Pleasant, WI; his brother, Jim Vliet, of FL; his sister, Cherie Bice, of Grand Rapids; and his four grandchildren. His family also includes his girlfriend, Brenda Robertson, of Coloma.
