Rolling Back the Years

100 years ago – 1924

Much damage was suffered from the wind storm of great proportions. The wind and heavy rainfall continued in its fury for over an hour. Farms stand to lose crops as trees were uprooted and grain fields were laid flat to the ground.

On account of the work on farms being so far behind for this season, the school board has announced that school will not open until one week after Labor Day.
