100 years ago – 1924

A second wreck at the Pere Marquette railway crossing occurred. A truck loaded with fruit was hit by a freight car that was being switched by the switching crew.

More new homes are under construction. They are the type that will add to the attractiveness of the village. Contractors J. E. Johnson and George Becht each are doing a home.

The Good Fellows Dancing Club has organized their season. This club always conducts good, clean dances.
