ROSS WILLIAM BURGER


Ross’ life began in Hartford, Michigan. Ross grew up in Hartford where he graduated high school. After high school Ross proudly served his country in the United States Army. Upon returning home Ross worked at Longs Appliances and then for 27 years at the Watervliet Paper Mill. Outside of work Ross enjoyed woodworking especially making bird houses and squirrel feeders. He also enjoyed sports, especially fishing and following Notre Dame and Chicago Cubs.

Ross leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory including: four children, Pam (Greg) Kaniuga, Rhonda (Dave) Hagenbarth, Kevin Burger, and Mark Burger; four grandchildren, Katilyn, Rachael, Shane, and Ashlee; three great-grandchildren, Ryder, Dixon, and Dale; a sister, Barbara Hunt; and several nieces and nephews.

Ross died peacefully at home on Nov. 29, 2022. He is preceded in death by his wife Wanda, his parents Ross V. and Lillian (Neff) Burger, and a sister Helen Williams.
