Russ “Rusty” Miller, 67, of Watervliet, MI entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at the West Woods of Bridgman.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, at Pathway Global Methodist Church, 2950 Lakeview Ave., St. Joseph, MI 49085. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, 2026 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI 49085. Russ was born July 9, 1958, in Watervliet, MI to Manfred and Rosalie (Hiler) Miller. He graduated from Watervliet High School in 1976. Russ worked as a postal carrier and was a true jack of all trades. He enjoyed working on cars, loved animals, and took great pride in coaching youth softball. Russ was also an avid sports fan.
Russ is survived by his daughter Amy (Walter) Olmstead; grandchildren Amberley Olmstead and Judson Olmstead; nieces & nephews Benjamin (Amy) Iliff, Beth (Joseph) Wheeler, Daniel (Amanda) Iliff and Denise (Joseph) Fletcher; many great nieces & nephews; and brother-in-law Patrick Iliff.
Russ was preceded in death by his parents, sister Debra Iliff and lifelong partner and best friend Patti Miller.
