RUTH R. ALCOTT
Ruth R. Alcott, 86, of Bainbridge Township died Monday, March 29, 2021, in Coloma.
Family Services will be held later this week at Penn Yann Cemetery in Bainbridge Township where she will be buried next to her husband, Jack. He preceded her in death in September 2018. Ruth was born on January 30, 1935 in Benton Harbor to William and Emily Popke. She was one of 11 children in her family. Ruth was a homemaker most of her life although she did work as an administrative secretary in the Probation Department at the Berrien County Courthouse for 10 years.
Her family includes her children, Joni Teed of St. Joseph, Jeffrey Alcott of Midland, MI, Scott Alcott of Benton Harbor and Amy Timm of Coloma, her eight grandchildren, her 11 great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
She was also preceded by the rest of her siblings and her parents.
