Survivors include her husband Don whom she married Nov. 21, 1959 in Hartford; two daughters, Denise Thoms of Howard City, MI and Diane (Allen Sr.) Fairbanks of Burr Hill, VA; one son, Don (Chandra) Carney Jr. of South Bend, IN and one sister, Pamela (Jerry) Wojtas of Surprise, AZ. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Allen, Aurora, Steven, Samantha, Ashley, and Angela; four great-grandchildren, Autumn, Brooke, Jack, and James; and one great-great-grandchild Grayson.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by a son, John Allen Carney, two grandsons, Michael and Johnny, a sister, Marilyn Cotman, and a brother, Burl D. Lloyd.
