Smoke and wildfires impact Southwest Michigan air quality

Southwest Michigan residents may have noticed hazy skies and worsening air quality over the past few weeks as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to affect the region. The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) has issued air quality advisories for elevated levels of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) across the state on more than one occasion.
