A special meeting of the Watervliet Charter Township Board was held on Monday, June 12, 2023 regarding the management alternatives for Paw Paw Lake. The lake project has been ongoing for 11 years, their two objectives in the beginning were control the milfoil weeds and water monitoring. They have been working with Spicer and PLM and every four years (due 2024) they have a public hearing to reevaluate the progress.
