STANLEY L. SHAFER

Stanley L. Shafer, 69, of Benton Township, died Monday, July 17, 2023 at his home.

Services celebrating his life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are by the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Township. Please share messages or memories at www.florin.net.

Stanley was born Jan. 4, 1954, in Benton Harbor to Kellogg and Irene Shafer. He attended Benton Harbor High School and became a handyman in the area for many years.

Stanley’s family includes his sons, Saul (Jenna) Shafer of Watervliet and Eric Shafer of Watervliet; his brother, James Shafer; and three grandchildren.
