When we ask about “end times” events, and what we can know about the “last days,” we naturally turn to the Bible, right? When we ask about the prophetic future of the world, subjects like Armageddon, Seven-Year Tribulation, the “Rapture,” New Heaven and New Earth, the Mark of the Beast, would come up. We wouldn’t necessarily understand all the events and sequences, but our central source book would remain the Bible, right? Even when archeological finds uncover ancient calendars predicting the end of the world, we measure the credibility of the new revelation against what the Bible has to say. The Bible remains our norm, our standard of measure. That’s because at the core, we still believe the Bible; or at least want to believe the Bible.
