Trees for Troops

Every year, thousands of Michiganders and millions of Americans trek out into the cold and pick out a live Christmas tree to decorate their home for the season. While decorating a tree is a fun and festive activity for families, it is important that we do not lose sight of the importance of the Christmas season and the spirit of giving it inspires. Likewise, it is a time for us to reflect on the many blessings we enjoy and to give thanks. For more than a decade now, Wahmhoff Farms in Gobles has helped embody this spirit, coordinating with other Michigan Christmas tree farms as a part of the Trees for Troops program which delivers hundreds of donated trees to those serving in our nation’s armed forces.
