VICTORIA MIGALA

Victoria Migala, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 71. Born in Benton Harbor, Michigan, on Jan. 11, 1953, Victoria spent the last decade of her life in Winter Haven, Florida, where she embraced the sunshine and coastal breeze.

Victoria is survived by her two sons, William (Brenda) and Jason (Amanda), and her cherished grandchildren, Dyllon, Madison, Jacob, and Nadia. She leaves behind a loving family including her brothers and sisters, Ted (Mary Jo), Mariellyn (John) Berry, Kathy Schlipp, Tom (Mary), Rich (Abby), and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Eileen Migala.

Victoria was a free spirit with an unwavering love for the beach, the nostalgia of the sixties, and the music of John Lennon. Her fondness for peace signs, flamingos, and her Irish heritage reflected her vibrant personality and zest for life.

Known for her wisdom and introspection, Victoria once wrote on her Facebook page, “I’m such a ‘look at the moon’ person.”

In her memory, donations can be made to her favorite charity, Recovery House of Florida, Inc., at recoveryhouseinc.org, in lieu of flowers. A celebration of Victoria’s life will be held with her family in Clearwater, Florida, on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

Victoria’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and acceptance. As she once said, “And if, when it’s all over, I’m asked what I did with my life, I want to be able to say ‘I offered love.’”

May her spirit continue to shine bright in the hearts of all who knew her.
