As previously covered in an op-ed I wrote for this paper, there have been new criminal penalties created for Michigan hunters by the Whitmer administration. In an effort to stop these unrealistic timelines and draconian punishments for Michigan citizens, House and Senate Republicans got to work and passed House Bill 6354, which would have canceled the governor’s criminal penalties associated with deer reporting requirements.
