Watervliet Boys Basketball

 The Watervliet varsity boys basketball team traveled to Saugatuck on Wednesday, Jan. 22 for a non-divisional conference game, returning home with their fourth win in their past five appearances, taking the victory, 68-26.

 The Panthers (6-6) dominated throughout, leading from start-to-finish, while grabbing the scoreboard advantage across all four quarters. Watervliet led after the opening eight minutes, 16-7, before accelerating their halftime lead to nineteen points, 31-12. The second half saw the Panthers expand their lead to 48-23, after three quarters of action. They saved their best for last, as they blew the game open in the fourth quarter, outscoring the host Trailblazers, 20-3.
