Watervliet Township takes action to improve water quality on Paw Paw Lake; Orchard Hill Landfill contributes nearly $44K to help resurface Dan Smith Road

POSTED FOR THE PUBLIC… A variety of educational materials, including signs like this one have been developed by Michigan State University Extension, the Michigan Department of Environment and Great Lakes and Energy and other state and national education programs. Similar signs like this one will be posted at two public access points on Paw Paw Lake to help to stop the spread of invasive species. This is in partnership with the new boating law that was affective in 2019, which requires boaters to remove all debris and aquatic plants from boats and trailers, and to remove and drain all water from bilges and live wells before transporting.
