Whitmer wins another term as Governor of the State of Michigan

Incumbent Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer has defeated her Republican challenger, Tudor Dixon, and will remain in office for a second term. With most of Michigan’s largest population centers reporting results early Wednesday, the Associated Press called the race for Whitmer at 1:21 a.m.
