William “Bill” Miller, 83, of Baroda, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025, at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial has taken place at North Shore Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Arrangements are by the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service and Cremation Service in Benton Township.
Bill was born on Oct. 13, 1941, to William M. and Marvel Miller. After high school, he served in the United States Air Force as a jet engine mechanic. Later he worked at Whirlpool until his retirement. He married his wife, Linda, and together they celebrated 30 years of marriage.
Bill enjoyed golfing, gardening, and spending time with his grandkids. He was a very good husband, father, and grandfather. He also loved his dog “Tinker”. Bill was kind and loving and will be sorely missed.
Bill is survived by his wife, Linda, his son, William C. (Nancy) Miller, his daughter, Kellie (Richard) Carlson, their mother, Donna Albertson, his stepson, Jason Williamson, his stepdaughter, Darcy Knutson, six grandchildren, Brittny (Kyle) Burbano, Briar (Spencer) Abbott, Lukas Carlson, Logan Miller, Alec Carlson, and Jacob Miller, and four great-grandchildren, KJ, Onyx, Aurora, and Link. He is also survived by his sister Joyce (Glen) McCollum.
Bill was preceded in death by his sister Lois and brothers, John and Richard.
