On Jan. 31, 2023, Coty and Theresa (Skogen) Krueger welcomed their beautiful daughter Willow into the world. Willow brought them and her entire family so much joy in her short time. “Although we only had five short, loved filled days with her we will carry her memory in our hearts forever.” Willow died Feb. 5, 2023, at Corewell Health Watervliet Hospital.
During Willow’s short time on earth, she enjoyed cuddles with mommy and daddy, late night TV time with Papa Jake, her outfits and bows that daddy had fun dressing her in, and hearing all the loving voices of her family. She especially loved the bonding time she had with mommy during their breastfeeding sessions, which she felt she needed all the time. The moment Willow came into this world, she was met by the unconditional and everlasting love of her parents. She recognized the sound of her mommy and daddy and was engulfed in their warm embraces. They were her safe place. Their bond had begun to strengthen the moment she was placed on their chests. Even though Willow is not here in physical form, she will forever be beside her mom and dad to witness all of their milestones and life adventures. Forever and always their baby you’ll be.
She will be deeply missed by her parents Coty and Theresa Krueger, her grandparents Brandi and Jake Atherton, David Krueger, and Dusty and Trisha Skogen, and a host of great-grandparents, great-great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, great aunts and uncles, and cousins.
Willow was preceded in death by Nana Theresa Phillips, Papa Gene Phillips, Uncle Tom Vasquez, Paw Jim Liles, Uncle Josh Krueger, and many other relatives that were near and dear to their hearts.
Willow’s beautiful life will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 25 at New Freedom Church in Coloma with visitation from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a service at 2:00 p.m.
