The sixteenth week of the Tri-City Record’s annual Armchair Quarterback contest has come and gone, but we made sure to continue our long-standing tradition of challenging our knowledgeable ‘super fans’ over some ultimately tough choices on the gridiron. Our diehards attempted to pick the winners of a pair of collegiate football games, in addition to eight professional football showdowns that graced the docket. With ten games on the slate for our pickers each week, there are a plethora of different outcomes that can happen, which often separate the ‘best’ from ‘just good’ in our weekly standings. This week saw all six of our panelists finish with above average, winning records, and we even had to go to our ultimate tiebreaker, a coin flip, not once, but twice!
