It has been a busy start to my new position as Instructional Technology Coach for the district. I have been able to go into classrooms to help teachers and students with new technology and to create small mini lessons for the classes. The 5th grade students at North School have been the students I have worked with the most so far this year and they get so excited when they know Mrs. O is coming into class. I have been a teacher now for 20 years and it has been a transition to not be in front of a class every day. I miss the interactions I have with the students. It was hard to leave my 6th grade Science position mid-year. The students were not happy to see me go but they are resilient kids who are doing a great job with the adjustment.
