First week for Armchair Quarterbacks sees two unbeaten records

The first week of the newest edition of the Michigan high school football season has come and gone, and brought with it a fresh, new excitement for coaches, players, and fans alike. But the season also dawned locally with questions, both on and off the field, as teams wondered if their preparations would be seen in their results. And even our pigskin prognosticators in the Tri-City Record’s yearly tradition, the Armchair Quarterback contest, had their skills put to the test on their picking ability, and some came through week one with flying colors, while some were more than happy to see the script flip to week two.
