Jim Carey Early Bird Invitational
The Hartford varsity cross-country teams traveled to Lawrence on Friday, Aug. 15, for the Jim Carey Early Bird Invitational, which featured seven total teams. Both teams were determined to start the season on a high note, which they would achieve by securing podium results.
In the men’s meet, the Huskies secured top honors in the team race, with a total of 28 points. Aiden Mcdonald was the individual overall winner, finishing with a time of 17:29.88. He was followed across the finish line by Alex Diaz (3rd, 19:01), Josaias Robles (4th, 19:36), Zavier Gutierrez (12th, 22:15), and Rigo Morales (15th, 23:41).
