Hartford Boys Basketball
The Hartford varsity boys basketball team hosted Bloomingdale on Tuesday, Feb. 10, for a conference game, looking to continue a second-half revenge tour and avenge an earlier loss to their opponent. On a night where they celebrated “Senior Night,” the men earned the win, 64-51.
The Huskies (6-9, 6-7) nearly led from start to finish, with the opening and closing quarters providing the spark for their fourth win in their last six games. The men in green and white led after the opening eight minutes, 20-15, before taking the second quarter by a single point, 8-7, for a 28-22 halftime lead. The two teams dueled to an 18-18 draw in the third quarter, giving Hartford a 46-40 lead entering the final eight minutes, which they’d secure by an 18-11 margin.
