The opening week of action in the Tri-City Record’s Armchair Quarterback Contest has been contested. As always, this contest continued the tradition of challenging these ‘superfans’ in some daunting gridiron matchups, as the knowledgeable fanatics looked to pick the winners of five high school and five collegiate football games that appeared on week one’s calendar. It’s always a fantastic time of year when you can spend those nights at the fields, under the lights, and watch the action!
