Letters to the Editor

It was a great ride

Dear Editor,

Several years ago I answered an ad in the Tri-City Record looking for advertising sales help. Mutually agreed upon, I took that job. It has been a great ride, even through the pandemic and beyond. I have met businesses through-out Watervliet, Coloma, Hartford and other local towns and found many new business friends.

It was time for me now to take a time-out. I will draw, fish and travel more, ever remembering my time at the paper. I wish the owners and employees continued success, and look forward to keeping up with local news and happenings.

Hello,

Thank you for providing a great reflection of life in the Tri-City area. The paper is a perfect gift for my dad, Michael Vrtis. My family is the fourth generation that continues to enjoy Watervliet. We appreciate all the stories from the area. It’s a fantastic paper.
