A Mother’s Day reflection: Compassion over isolation

 This year, Mother’s Day falls on Sunday, May 10. While mothers deserve to be celebrated every day of the year, this special day offers a meaningful opportunity to pause and honor the women who give so much of themselves for their children. Motherhood comes in many forms, whether through having children of their own, born or unborn, or by lovingly stepping into a maternal role through adoption or care for another child. Each of these women embodies the heart of motherhood, and all are worthy of recognition and gratitude on Mother’s Day.
