Life is beautiful on the farm; The Peters’ Love Story of 60 years

Editor’s Note: Arrangements were already made to tell this Love Story when the Tri-City Record was made aware of the passing of Dwight. Althea and the Tri-City Record decided to still tell their story!



There is an old saying that goes, “happy wife, happy life,” but in the case of the farmer’s wife, it is equally important if their farmer is happy too! This was true for the Peters, Dwight and Althea, of Keeler Township. They are the last couple to be featured in this year’s lasting love stories series before revealing this year’s Cutest Couple for Valentine’s Day, 2025.
