New blood: Taylor Prestidge becomes third weekly Armchair Quarterback winner

The sixth week of the Tri-City Record’s annual Armchair Quarterback contest has come and gone, but we made sure to continue our long-standing tradition of challenging our knowledgeable ‘super fans’ over some ultimately tough choices on the gridiron. Our diehards attempted to pick the winners of a pair of high school football games, five collegiate football contests and a trio of professional football matchups that were on the docket. With ten games on the slate for our pickers last week, there are a slew of outcomes that can happen, which often is the difference between finishing at the top or bottom of the weekly standings. We can report that all six of our gurus ended with winning records; and, in what might be a first in a long time we had FIVE panelists finish with identical records!
