As the ever-dwindling days of summer fade away like the sunset in our western sky, naturally the thoughts of everyone turns to the change of seasons and the falling leaves in their natural beauty in the glistening wind. But, in sports terms, we also look ahead to fall and the upcoming campaign on the gridiron. Our football friends and heroes, young and old, return to the field in a chorus of banging helmets and clacking shoulder pads.
