Coloma boys basketball moves to 5-2 with Dowagiac, Allegan wins

Last week, the Coloma Comet varsity boys basketball team hosted Dowagiac on Tuesday, Dec. 17, for non-conference action. The Comets would pick up their fourth win of the campaign, 63-58. The game, despite finishing with a five-point margin, featured topsy-turvy scoreboard watching all night.

CRUCIAL TWO POINTS… In their recent divisional conference game against Allegan, Coloma’s AJ Moore fights off the defender on his way to laying the ball in for a basket during the second half of the close contest. Moore, a consistent performer for the Comets, finished in double figures, scoring 15 points, in a 63-54 victory over the Tigers moving Coloma to 5-2 on the season. (TCR photo by Jerrod Birmele)
