There I stood with my two brothers and Grandpa Helms, all neatly dressed and posing in a grassy area next to Grandpa’s home in South Connellsville, Pennsylvania. It was 1957. I was 7 and my brothers were 4 and 9. We stood there for the picture with smiles on our faces, happy to be visiting.
